Application:

For firealarm connections in electronic fire control systems and for connection of telecommunication and data transmission systems. Suitable for fixed indoor installations. Not recommended for underground installation.

Technical characteristics:

  • Produced according to DIN VDE 0815
  • Conductor diameter: 0.60 mm and 0.80 mm
  • Loop resistance at +20 0C, max.:
    • For 0.6 mm: 130 Ohm/km
    • For 0.8 mm: 73.2 Ohm/km
  • Insulation resistance at +20 0C: 100 MOhm.km
  • Peak working voltage: 300 V
  • Test voltage:
    • Between the cores of the active pair: 800 V
    • Between cores and screen: 800 V
  • Nominal capacitance at frequency 800 Hz: max. 100 nF/km
  • Temperature range: from -30 °C to +70 °C
  • Minimum single time bending radius during installation: 10 D
  • Capacitance unbalance k1 80% between pairs at frequency 800 Hz: 300 pF/100 m
  • Attenuation (800 Hz):
    • For 0.6 mm: 1.7 dB/km
    • For 0.8 mm: 1.1 dB/km
  • Flame retardance: flame retardant acc. to IEC 60332-1
  • Sheath colour: Red, RAL 3000
Cable design:
  • Solid bare copper conductors with diameter 0.60 mm and 0.80 mm
  • Insulation: PVC
  • Bunch of twisted pairs
  • Core wrapping with separating polyester tape
  • Electrostatic screen of plastic coated AL foil with drain copper wire with diameter:
    • For cables with conductor diameter 0.6 mm: 0.6 mm
    • For cables with conductor diameter 0.8 mm: 0.8 mm
  • Sheath: PVC
