Application:
For local connection of telecommunication and PBX systems and in industrial plants.
Suitable for direct burial as well as for indoor installation and conduits.
Not recommended for power supply networks.
Technical characteristics:
- Produced according to VDE 0816
- Conductor resistance at +20 °C:
- For 0.5 mm: 95 Ohm/km
- For 0.6 mm: 65 Ohm/km
- Insulation resistance: 10 GOhm.km
- Peak working voltage: 150 V
- Test voltage:
- Between the cores of the active pair: 500 V
- Between cores and screen: 2000 V
- Nominal capacitance at frequency 800 Hz – max. 48 nF/km
- Temperature range:
- Mobile installation: from -10 °C to +60 °C
- Fixed installation: from -40 °C to +60 °C
- Minimum bending radius: 10 D
- Capacitance unbalance k1 for 500 m. at frequency 800 Hz:
- For 95 % of the values: max. 420 pF
- For 100 % of the values: max. 980 pF
- Capacitance unbalance k1-12 for 500 m. at frequency 800 - 1000 Hz:
- For 95 % of the values: max. 200 pF
- For 100 % of the values: max. 800 pF

- Primary bunch of 5 star quads
- Core assembly formed of a number of twisted primary bunches

- Screen of laminated aluminium tape
- Sheath: Polyethylene with 1.5 % soot
